The taste of our country

arroz_venere_con_pescadoThe mediterranean diet represents more than a valued cultural heritage, it’s also healthful and rich. It is a lifestyle, full of recipes, ways to cook, celebrations, habits, local products and various human activities.
The main caracteristics from this alimentation is using mostly vegetables (fruit, vegetables and nuts), bread and other cereals (being wheat the main one), olive oil as main fat, vinegar and wine.

One of the few good properties of this cooking is the use of fats like olive oil, fish and  nuts, and also the dishes made with vegetables and cereales as a garnish for meat or other main meals, always using ingredients and spices from the season.
